Through spiritual reflection as a team, the Pastoral Council advises the Pastor regarding ways to improve the sense of community and fulfillment of spiritual and practical needs of the parish.

The Diocesan Better Together initiative asked parishes to gather parishioners in small groups to discuss needs within each parish in order to draft a three-year Pastoral Plan. Our Pastoral Council culled the responses from our small groups and evaluated them, creating a document that was sent to the Diocese outlining the key initiatives of our plan.

This Pastoral Plan addresses all three of the priority areas put forth by the diocese: Leadership, Co-Responsibility, and the Parish as the Center of Charity and Mercy. These three areas will be planned, scheduled, and worked during the three-year duration of this effort.
